Holistic Nutritional Support for Pregnancy and Birth

It is easy and normal to become overwhelmed with the amount of information available regarding nutrition during pregnancy. I can help you make sense of it all by offering evidence-based recommendations on a number of topics, including:

  • Important nutrients during the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters, and foods that contain those nutrients;

  • Common pregnancy conditions such as nausea, gestational diabetes, gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia, and more - with suggestions on how to avoid and holistic support for these issues;

  • Precautions in pregnancy regarding foodborne illnesses, and foods & beverages to avoid;

  • Nourishing and supporting birth, from preparing your body through nutrition in the weeks before your due date to what to eat during the different stages of labor.

Holistic Nutritional Support for Postpartum

It is during the postpartum period that mothers require the most holistic support when it comes to their nourishment and recovery, and yet this is often when their well-being is regarded as an afterthought. At this particularly sensitive period of a woman’s life, I offer support on topics including:

  • Nourishing the early days postpartum;

  • Important postpartum nutrients, and foods that contain those nutrients;

  • Common postpartum conditions such as hair loss, stress, thyroid disfunction, weight, and more - with suggestions on how to avoid and holistic support for these issues;

  • Breastfeeding support, i.e. beginning the breastfeeding journey, how much to feed and how often, possible reasons for low milk supply, how to naturally increase milk supply, and more.

Holistic Nutritional Support for Babies and Toddlers

There is no greater concern to a new parent or caretaker than the well-being of a baby. I offer peace of mind by guiding them through topics such as:

  • Different methods for getting started with solids (guidance regarding baby-led weaning, pureed foods and/or combination feeding according to the family’s profile);

  • Important nutrients in the first year, best first foods to offer and recommended supplements (if applicable);

  • Introducing common allergenic foods such as eggs, peanuts, fish, gluten and so on;

  • Understanding and troubleshooting allergies, sensitivities, intolerances and eczema;

  • Relieving constipation in babies and toddlers.

On a plant-based diet? No problem!). It includes where to find the best foods and supplements for you, recommended brands and why, as well as guidance about food quality.

KITCHEN MAKEOVER (CÔTE D'AZUR only)

The first step to mindful eating is getting rid of temptation. During this kitchen makeover, I will go through your pantry and fridge with you and provide guidelines about foods to keep, foods to reconsider, and foods to avoid - and provide alternatives that fit your budget and personal preferences.

  4. Once you send them back to me, I’ll follow-up with a link showing the available slots, so that you can pick a time that works best for you, and pay for your consultation or package.

  5. Next, you'll receive a confirmation email with the link to our video call, or address if you chose for it to take place in person.
