Hello and welcome to yolk nutrition.
My name is Ana Clara Soares, but you can call me Ana. I’m a mother of two and living proof that proper nutrition is nothing short of life-changing. My mission is to support pregnant women, women going through the postpartum period, and babies. Everyone else who may be interested in my services is welcome with wide open arms (e.g. partners, relatives, or friends of people who may benefit from my expertise). My door remains open to all.
I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and I’m a citizen of the world at heart. I am currently based in the south of France, but I am thankful to be working with people worldwide.
Why I do what I do
After years working in digital marketing, I found my calling through the Oh Baby Academy when pregnant with my second child. Certain of my purpose, I studied to become a nutrition consultant while going through birth and the postpartum period. My wish is to help people who, like me, understand the importance of adequate nutrition during pregnancy and beyond, and could use all the support possible, but aren’t really sure where to get it.
I know from experience that being pregnant can be overwhelming and scary. If you’ve been through it (or if you’re pregnant at this very moment - congratulations!), you’re probably familiar with “folic acid”, “toxoplasmosis” or “pre-eclampsia”. If you’ve been through the postpartum period, you’ve likely experienced depletion at all levels, and wondered whether “breast is (really) best”. And if your baby is old enough, you probably pondered what to feed them first and what method to use (“Baby-led weaning? But what about purées…? And what if she develops an allergy?”). For all of these questions and much, much more - I am here to support you. Without judgement and without BS.
Is yolk for me?
Yolk nutrition is for you if you are aware of the importance of nutrition especially during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and if you want you and your baby to thrive. As mentioned above, I also welcome partners, relatives, or friends of people who may benefit from my expertise. It is also definitely for you if you have trouble making sense of the plethora of information regarding nutrition and motherhood.
