What do you mean by “holistic”?
The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines holistic as “…concerned with wholes or with complete systems rather than with the analysis of, treatment of, or dissection into parts”. In the Yolk Nutrition context, it means that I will look into your mental, physical, and social factors in addition to your food habits in order to provide nutrition recommendations, natural solutions and lifestyle suggestions to address your concern as a whole. As a holistic nutrition consultant, I understand that these factors are all intimately interconnected. In practice, I am interested in helping you with the root of the problem and in making the solution a sustainable, long-term one.
ARE ALL THE APPOINTMENTS IN PERSON, OR IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE AN ONLINE CONSULTATION?
Good news: It really depends on what’s more comfortable for you! If you’re based in Munich, we can either schedule an online consultation (video call*) or one in person. Either way, I guarantee that your appointment will that place in a private environment where you’ll feel comfortable sharing your concerns.
If you live elsewhere, the consultation will most likely take place online, at the time of your choice. I am willing to travel for workshops and if there are enough clients interested in meeting in person, though.
*Why a video call? This way we can get to know each other better, and I can tell how to support you the best.
are you familiar with, and can provide recommendations for clients who follow a plant-based diet?
Yes! I was a vegetarian and occasionally vegan for years, and I understand the specific concerns of plant-based diets. For these families, having nutritional guidance is especially important during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and when introducing solids to your baby. Knowing this, I have become certified in providing you with evidence-based recommendations for nutrients, foods, and important supplements.

Fill out the contact form and specify the topic that you’re interested in. You can add any additional comments here.
I will reach out to you with documents that you must fill out for me to better understand your background and habits. These are: a 3-day food journal, and a health intake form (all the information provided to me is confidential).
Once you send them back to me, I’ll follow-up with a link showing the available slots, so that you can pick a time that works best for you, and pay for your consultation or package.
Next, you'll receive a confirmation email with the link to our video call, or address if you chose for it to take place in person.
CAN YOU HELP ME LOSE THE “BABY WEIGHT”?
I’m going to be honest with you: I will not make recommendations to deliberately help you lose weight in the first weeks postpartum. Our bodies take a tremendous toll in creating life and birthing a baby, and the recovery takes time (in my case 10 months after each pregnancy - but every body is different). However, I can attest that by nourishing yourself adequately and eating mindfully you will, eventually, feel closer to your renewed sense of self - and I can definitely help you with this. Time, patience and healthy habits will tell whether you’ll return to the body that you had pre-pregnancy, but your well-fed, strong, resilient mama body will be perfect nonetheless.
